My client runs a specialist agency in the video games sector and they are looking for a perms specialist to join their team. They are an industry recognised and award winning recruiter and many candidates come directly to this agency because of it’s expertise in the sector and it’s great reputation.

Working alongside the in-house marketing team, this agency makes sure that the right candidates reach the right people in the game development industry.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for attracting candidates for jobs and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with client companies. You'll build positive relationships to gain a better understanding of your clients' recruitment needs and requirements.

You'll attract candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You'll screen candidates, interview them, match them to your client’s needs.
You also provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities.

Responsibilities:
As a recruitment consultant, you're the vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding, diverse and involves:

• using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
• visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships with them
• developing a good understanding of client companies, what they do and the culture of the businesses and developing a good understanding of the video games industry.
• advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as newspapers, websites, social media and magazines.
• headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.
• Using LinkedIn Recruiter to approach candidates in the market though headhunting and managing social media accounts to help build brand awareness.
• guiding candidates through the recruitment process including preparing CVs, organising interviews, informing candidates and negotiating pay rates.
• working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated.
• Attending networking events and award ceremonies as per business requirements.

Skills & Experience:
• Must have a minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in recruitment – agency or internally.
• Experience as a “360” perms recruitment consultant; experience within a niche market desirable.
• Proven track record of billings and able to hit the ground running building strong relationships with candidates and clients from day one.
• Hungry and determined personality.
• Self-motivated
• Able to work autonomously yet stay within the process framework.
• Willingness to follow a well-honed recruitment process which is standardised throughout the company to ensure good practise throughout the business.
• You MUST have a sense of humour and love working in a unique, extremely fun team-driven environment
