Childcare Assessor, Must be Level 5

Location: Leeds, York and Rotherham

Salary: 27 to 28 per annum plus up to 3k bonus

Our client are a leading independent Training Provider with a solid reputation and client base who have also recently been voted amongst the Top 100 Companies in the UK to work for.

As part of their continued success and growth they are seeking to appoint in an experienced and motivated Childcare Leaning Consultant who can teach / assess up to level 5.

They are looking for a motivated, self-managing Learning Consultant within the Childcare sector – this role is to teach train and assess learners, delivering qualifications to the required standards. The company are a well-established, independent and popular training provider who operate nationally.

So, if you are a qualified trainer / assessor (PTTLS, D32 / 33, A1, TAQA) this is a great opportunity to become part of a successful team who will recognise and reward your efforts. This is an excellent company to work for, with a great package on offer – it is essential that you are experienced in Childcare, but also be able to turn your hand to cover other qualifications, such as Management, Customer Service and Business Admin.

MUST BE LEVEL 5.

Working in the Childcare sector the role involves –

  • Responsible for the required number of learners in accordance with company guidelines
  • To deliver the appropriate number of qualifications in accordance with company guidelines
  • To maintain paperwork to the minimum required standards
  • To ensure learner retention is at an acceptable level
  • Review learners performance in accordance with contract guidelines
  • Motivate/drive learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines
  • Support the learning process
  • Plan the assessment process with learners – observe/ record assessment and complete all relevant documentation
  • Maintain caseloads to the required levels
  • Monitor health and safety within the workplaces
  • Monitor Equality and Diversity within the work placements
