Recruitment Branch Manager - Construction and Manufacturing and Engineering

Due to growth, my client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Branch Manager for their branch/360 team. Are you an experienced branch manager looking to work with an excellent fun team, working on a constant flow of new vacancies? My client is an independent construction and m&e recruitment business who pride themselves on providing a flexible service for their customers, tailoring their services and prices to suite their needs

The Branch Manager role will report to the MD and be responsible for managing the Construction and M&E side of the business, consisting of the temp trades team and permanent recruitment team covering blue collar, white collar and office support roles. The recruitment team currently consists of seven team members. The Branch Manager will drive performance to achieve business targets and goals, looking to develop the team to its best potential, actively looking for new business opportunities and identifying areas to improve efficiency and profitability within the business.

The hours of work will be 8.30am or 9am to 5pm or 530pm Monday to Fri (flexible start and finish time).

The duties of the Recruitment Branch Manager will include:
• To carry out regular client review and new sales meetings
• Identify areas to improve margins and fees across the business
• Liaise with our external marketing consultant to ensure we get the best outcomes form activity
• To be hands on with business development to open new opportunities for PSLs and tenders
• To identify areas to improve profitability and efficiency within the business
• To support the recruitment team with any client’s/recruitment issues
• Manage and develop the recruitment team to its best potential
• Drive team performance to exceed targets
• Support the team to grow the client and candidate database across Construction and Manufacturing and Engineering
• To work with the MD to achieve business growth plans
• To work with the MD to set business forecasts for the branch team

The ideal candidate will:
-Be from a Construction Recruitment background
-Have a proven track record in sales
-Have previous experience managing of managing a team
-Lead from the front
