Location: Leeds City Centre 4 days a week and Sheffield 1 day a week

Salary: up to £30k plus great bonus scheme

My client is the executive division of a successful global agency, focusing exclusively within the medical and healthcare technology industries. They have been established since 2003 and have forged a reputation for excellence with their core clients. The company opened it’s new prestigious offices in central Leeds in May 2021. The significant demand from their client partners for world class talent underpins the exciting launch of their second branch. The expansion positions the company as a UK based global consultancy with a presence in two major UK cities.

Job Description
My client is now seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help source, identify, screen, and hire individuals for various commercial roles in the company as they move into a period of high growth.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, 2-3 years experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, but key is the ability to make an impact quickly and win over others in a highly competitive market space. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be both the external face of the organisation and working cross functionally internally.

Objectives of this Role
• Input into overall hiring strategy of the organisation to ensure the team consists of high performing individuals
• Ensure the recruitment needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
• Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives and feedback to the LS team relevant market space activity
• Work with the LS team to create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure the highest quality candidates and a positive experience

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify current and future needs
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Coordinate the full cycle 360 recruitment process
• Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline, and identify potential opportunities for pipeline

Skills and Qualifications
• Work experience in recruitment/talent acquisition
• Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods including Psychometric testing
• Knowledge of CRM/Applicant Tracking Systems
• Experience in using LinkedIn to proactively source candidates
• A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
• Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
