National Recruitment Sales Manager - Recruitment Industry - hybrid

Location: Hybrid, Ideally based in West Yorkshire with lots of travel around sites

Salary: up to £70k plus bonus plus car

I’m hiring for a National Sales Manager, based in West Yorkshire but travelling across sites to develop a fantastic sales strategy and group accounts. With scope to make the role your own, they’re looking for someone who can develop and implement a robust and proactive Sales Strategy to support significant business growth.

As the National Sales Manager, you will be expected to travel to our offices and locations around the UK so the base of the role can be negotiable depending on your location but they are ideally looking for someone based in West Yorkshire.  

Here’s what you can expect to be doing:

  • Develop senior relationships with national accounts and develop further business across the group
  • Identify further opportunities within current and new clients across other business lines
  • Developing Sales collateral and merchandise aligned to our sales strategy for national accounts
  • Work with both the group & UK accounts director, Operations Director and the Head of Managed Services to create bespoke service offering to deliver for new business
  • Build a pipeline of tenders and track through the national tender diary of all national account tender processes
  • Ownership for national/ onsite formal tender processes
  • Define strategy aligned to the national onsite accounts targeting
  • Developing such relationships through social and entertaining events outside of office hour’s as and when required.
  • Negotiate rates with clients in accordance with company mark-ups for the industry; always maximising the company’s long-term viability.
  • Create P&L and agree with a company director the pricing structure to ensure competitive within the market whilst focussing on the profitability of the account

A few things about you:

  • Background in new business development and selling to the temporary recruitment market 3 years
  • Experience managing the Tender Process
  • Evidence of the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Demonstrated experience of exceeding sales quotas
  • Proven ability to close deals regularly
  • An understanding and appreciation of the temporary recruitment industry and trends
  • Vision and commitment to grow and advance the company within the sector
