With an excellent reputation with both their candidates and clients, due to growth they now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment consultant to join our Sheffield team.

The successful applicant will ideally have +2 years’ experience in full cycle 360 recruitment and will be adept at cultivating relationships through business development outreach. This role will see you working with clients across the whole of Yorkshire to support their hiring needs for candidates in either the industrial and commercial sectors.

The Role

As an industrial or commercial recruitment consultant, you will:

  • Build and manage relationships with clients spanning across the industrial and commercial sectors, understanding their recruitment needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Source, screen and place candidates into roles such as, Warehouse Operatives, Machine Operators, Mechanical Engineers, Customer Service and Logistics Coordinators.
  • Conduct proactive sales outreach, by calling clients (being confident answering the phone and making calls is essential to this role).
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate attraction to offer negotiation, onboarding and induction.
  • Use sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates, utilising job boards, social media and networking events.
  • Work to revenue targets, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery to clients.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends to provide clients with market insights and an honest consultative approach.

What experience are we looking for?

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Recruitment experience, ideally +2 years within temp recruitment, however we are open to speaking with candidates who have previously recruited in other industries.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • An understanding of SME businesses around Sheffield and wider Yorkshire that employee bule and white-collar staff.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A full UK drivers license (travel to client sites will be required).
