Application / Web Developer

Anna Maher Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a long-standing client with the appointment of an experienced Application / Web Developer to join their established and collaborative development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a backend-focused developer to join a highly respected technology-led business, helping to deliver innovative digital solutions whilst supporting and enhancing an existing portfolio of web platforms, applications and integrations.

We are looking for a developer who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can turn technical complexity into practical, user-friendly solutions.

The Role

• You will be responsible for:
• Supporting and maintaining an existing suite of websites, portals and web-based applications
• Developing new applications and features using modern development technologies
• Building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver projects and technical solutions
• Sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues across the wider business
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently

Experience Required

We are keen to speak to developers with at least 5 years’ commercial experience, with strong experience in at least three of the following:

• .NET / .NET Core development
• Web development using alternative frameworks/technologies
• API integration
• SQL Server / T-SQL
• Version control systems (Git)
• CMS platforms (Umbraco highly desirable)
• Skills & Attributes
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to research and resolve technical challenges independently
• Team-focused approach

What’s on Offer?

• Salary £38,000 – £42,000 DOE
