Senior Internal Recruiter

Location: Fully remote but company based in London

Salary: up to £40k plus amazing bonus scheme

Ref: AMR203

Type: Permanent

Are you a Senior Recruiter / Recruitment Manager in Professional Services, looking to move away from agency and into a more strategic internal role? Are you looking for a fully remote job with a London based company?

The company

My client is a well-established organisation that has created a community of senior leaders from membership organisations, trade associations and the wider not-for-profit sector together to collaborate, innovate and impact change in society.

They offer recruitment solutions to their members at reduced fees and are looking for a Senior Professional Services Recruiter/Recruitment Manager to head up their recruitment division.

The role is fully remote – their offices are in London.  If you are looking to move away from agency and into a more strategic internal role then please get in touch.  We are accepting applications from proven perm billers or Recruitment Managers.

Key Objectives:

  • To manage the day-to-day delivery of Recruitment (temporary, contract and permanent recruitment services).
  • To support, manage and grow a successful, happy and thriving team of capable recruitment consultants who are known for the calibre of their work.
  • Working with the directors, plan and agree financial revenue targets and KPIs for the team, mitigating risks and ensuring Recruitment maximises its potential on behalf of the Group.
  • To instil a culture of smart business development and client management.
  • To deliver agreed personal and team financial targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Who we’re looking for:

This role would suit a highly skilled, experienced senior recruitment consultant who is ready to take the next step in their career.  They need someone with an intelligent, smart approach to recruitment who understands  why they’re different to others providing recruitment services in their arena, and why they’re the number one choice for their client base.

They’re niche but ambitious.  They’re looking for an individual who understands them and can really thrive with the responsibility you’ll earn.

They are ultimately looking to bring another director into the group – so the potential for reward is huge. Please get in touch for an informal discussion about the role.

Typical daily activities

The role of a recruitment manager is demanding and diverse and will generally involve:

  • Supporting, training, growing and assisting your team of recruitment consultants to achieve their own income and business targets;
  • Developing a strategy for you and your new team – including milestones, timescales and budgets;
  • Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from clients;
  • Building relationships with clients; this means developing a good understanding of the company’s clients, their industry, what they do and their work culture and environment; and most importantly, what their needs are.
  • Advertising roles in an intelligent, attractive manner;
  • Headhunting, identifying and approaching suitable candidates, building loyalty and trust and understanding candidate motivations;
  • Receiving, reviewing and improving applications, managing CVs and candidate submissions;
  • Organising interviews and briefing candidates;
  • negotiating between client and candidates, offering impartial advice and support.

Package and Benefits Summary:

  • Competitive salary - dependent on experience
  • Exceptional uncapped commission structure (details may change from time to time, as befitting the needs of the company).
  • Modest client entertainment expense accounts (details provided separately).
  • Contracted working hours will be 37.5 hours per week; flexible working patterns are expected and allowed, as befitting the nature of the work and the sector in which we operate.

The role is remote  so you would be expected to be able to use your home as a base office, although fairly regular travel might be required – along with attendance at the company’s four flagship events.
